How do I decide if I need a nurse or a nanny? We will help match a provider that is right for your situation based on our experience and availability. We often start with a nurse to help educate, advise, and increase your level of comfort. We can then transition you to a nanny. If you are comfortable with a nanny from the start, that is fine too.
How often should I use a provider? This is completely up to you. Many people use our service 2-3 nights a week to keep up on their sleep. Some parents, especially of multiples, use us 6 nights a week. Even 1 or 2 nights a week will help you catch up on sleep! There is no minimum requirement on the number of nights you schedule.
Can I trust these caregivers with my child? Absolutely! We hire the most qualified, trustworthy night nurses and night nannies. Each provider undergoes an extensive nationwide criminal background check, a detailed interview process, and comes to us with excellent references. All of our caregivers are fully insured. We can arrange for you to meet the providers prior to their first night working with your family to ensure a good fit.
Do I need an extra bedroom for the nurses? No. While it is helpful for the caregivers to have a space to spend time while the baby is sleeping, this can be a sofa, bed, or cozy chair. They will be discreet and considerate of the family’s privacy.
This sounds great for a baby shower gift, do you do gift certificates? Yes! Our service is a wonderful treat for an expectant parent–especially a first-time parent, a friend expecting twins, or an experienced mom with other children to care for. We will be happy to craft a package that is the perfect gift with a monetary value of your choice.
